Weekly LIVE Mentor Sessions
Not only will you have recorded videos to support your child building their projects, but you get weekly LIVE check-ins with an experienced teacher that has been inspiring children for 20+ years
Integrated Subjects
Every good project incorporates multiple subjects in a natural context. For example, the matchstick rocket your child will build during the camp, which naturally integrates physics, math, engineering, and technology (STEM)
"My son loves this program and has regained his love of learning. The kids’ creativity is encouraged here, and they come up with and execute amazing projects. I have seen his class write a play based on Norse mythology, which they then also built the sets, made the costumes for, and then performed. I have seen them built battle ground replica WWll, and try to build a working foxhole radio. They have made working water filtration systems with plastic bottles, pebbles, sand, and charcoal, as well as many many other projects which taught them about engineering, history, math, culture, etc. What an amazing program!"

As the result of years of experience running Knox Academy-the hybrid school and homeschool support program we founded in 2016, we are convinced that individualized learning through student-led and project-based learning is a simpler, more effective way to learn.
We saw it every day at Knox, and now we are working to create the same project-based, individualized learning as we had in person, but now online so even more students can experience this effective way to learn that leads to a lifelong curious learner.
